OPEN GYM HIGH SCHOOL PLAYERS (see Clinics below for HS Players)

Cascade Volleyball club offers an Open Gym option to all High School players and experienced Middle School players so they can continue to play throughout the year even if they are not playing club ball.

Registration will open in December.

Location: Old Lincoln High School

Time: 7:00 to 9:00 pm

Dates: Open Gym will begin in January and run every Tuesday (that school is in session) through May 23, 2017.  15 to 18 weeks offered ($12 to $15/week).

We plan to add some Mondays and Wednesdays as gym availability allows – those that purchase the full session option can attend any offered Open Gym.

Cost Options:

1) $225 Fee for all sessions (drop-in any or all: $12 to $15/week). Cannot be shared.

2) $100 VIRTUAL Punch Card for any 5 dates (can be shared among multiple players) - use this option if you think you can only attend a few and you have friends that you can share the card with.  Punch card may be used during our drop-in summer grass program but is use or lose by the end of August, 2017.

Player/Coach Ratio is always 8:1 with some individual date exceptions.

YOUTH (2nd-5th grade girls & boys):
Our Youth Program is designed primarily for new or returning players who want to develop a great skill base in a pre-middle school environment.  The Youth program uses USAV-approved volleyballs specially designed for this age group that are a little lighter which helps younger players without as much strength develop good technique.

MIDDLE SCHOOL CLINICS and HIGH SCHOOL (5th/6th-12th Graders):
Series are taught by experienced Cascade coaches and instructors and focuses on providing players with great technical skills instruction and individualized feedback. Coaches use a variety of drills and games to build skills in a fun and positive environment. Players learn all aspects of game play: serving, passing, setting, hitting, blocking. Builds on players' existing skills to develop stronger technique and tactical play.

When registering, you will be prompted to enter in your child's experience.  This helps us better prepare our lesson plans.  Please note that on Sundays, we will have 3 courts and players will be divided by skill level, not age.  Players will be able to move to a more advanced court as soon as they are ready - due to the new format, we will be able to move players between courts much easier.

Level 1 - Never played before, doesn’t know the skills or keys or maybe even how the game is played. This level is an intro to basic movements and concepts.

Level 2 - Attended 1-3 camps or multi-day clinics. Makes attempts at serving, passing, setting and hitting that look roughly correct, but performance isn't consistent.

Level 3 - Serve, pass, set, consistently.  Knows some blocking footwork.

Level 4 - Knows basic Serve Receive formations, defensive base positions. blocking footwork.

Information on clinics currently running or taking registration is posted on the home page of this site.

Cascade does not refund or pro-rate for sessions missed.  However, if you email us in advance AND there is room in one of our other clinics during the same session, we will offer to let players attend a different time to make up for a missed session.  This is a very generous policy and we appreciate you understanding that we cannot always accommodate every request, but we will do our best to work with the schedule.
